Al Greetings was launched in 1999 to fill
a growing need in the UAE, of an organization that would raise funds for charities
through corporate sponsorships, social groups, societies, associations, students
and the public at large.
Since its inception Al Greetings has raised over Dh 250,000 annually for charities
through its activities and fund raising projects. It has also brought to the forefront
the plight of challenged human beings and created a medium through which voluntary
work and support can reach those who need it.
The charities which have benefited from Al Greeting projects include, the international
charity Medecins Sans Frontieres, the ILA Special Care Centre in Abu Dhabi, Future
Centre in Abu Dhabi , the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre in Dubai, Sharjah City
for Humanitarian Services in Sharjah, Chain of Hope in the United Kingdom and Pratham
UAE supporting the activities of Pratham in India.
Al Greetings believes that every human being should in some way support those who
are less fortunate or privileged than themselves. This also carries forward to corporate
organizations, businesses and multinational companies who have a responsibility
to support the less fortunate sections of society. Every human being has a right
to their place in society. It is our hope that the work we do at Al Greetings helps
some individuals either children or adults to fulfill their dreams and achieve their
goals.
